[Although texting is certainly his preferred way of communicating, it's still a little nerve-wracking. But figuring things out is way more important than some unnecessary nervousness, and so he's finally decided to take a break from other things he's working on to ask some questions.]

Hello everyone. In the interest of discovering why and how we arrived here, I had a few questions for those willing to answer them.

The first is what each of us was doing before we found ourselves here, and if it happened in any sort of noteworthy location. Any details could be important, so whatever you remember is likely valuable.

The second is if anyone here is familiar with or experienced in traveling between dimensions or worlds, outside of this one.

The third is if anyone, while here, has attempted any methods of reaching or contacting a dimension or world outside of this one, and what the results were.

[He's... Not expecting much on the last one, honestly, but might as well ask. The first two might result in something useful, though, or at least he hopes they might.

And before he ends the post--]

Thank you for your time.

It fell into the wrong hands and things snowballed. It's an insane amount of power. [ The power to rewrite the past, to tip the balance of war. To erase people from existence.

Give him a second with the next sentence. ]
That's right. More research could've been done on that front beforehand. [ But thinking things through was never COST's strong suit. ]

Aren't most people convinced they're doing good? [ Even the army COST had been fighting—they thought they brought peace. But again, that might be too much detail to share.

He warms to whoever this is, worrying over the fate of worlds and times not his own. ]
Nothing's permanent. [ It looks ominous, there in text, but it's true. Time travel itself was built from the bones of a long-dead god. ] Least of all here.

Tell me about your world.

Earlier than me. [ William offers, mostly for the stranger's sake. He's not sure how much point there is in trying to pin down exact years. ]

But you know about them. [ In person, his tone would be somewhere between teasing and probing. Without the frank interest, the light in his eyes, it may come across differently. ] How were they discovered?
