It was a medical lab. All of the papers were blank, though, so I don't know what they were studying.

I wasn't being serious. But it's not like someone rich would necessarily have a reason to hold us in a better place. Maybe that's all they want, to keep us somewhere until they can further their own plans.

There isn't much. All of the equipment is fairly basic. And I doubt it's possible to tell if they were using it for anything atypical, especially when any chemicals are long gone.
