He's so not expecting the sudden switch to Japanese, let alone a switch to really good Japanese; he actually looks up from his screen again in surprise, though quickly returns his attention to what he's doing. It doesn't bother him that Logan's reading over his shoulder--he's quite used to that from his friends--and it makes it easier to point out what he's doing anyway.

Which would suck, since then it would be basically a dead end until they could get more information.
