[ Denji is a city boy. Or at least, that's where he was before all this happened. The kind of scenery that made up most of the areas in this world was something he had gotten used to fairly quick. So when it came time to wander around and find a whole new kind of place just sitting there, he was a little disturbed.
But at the same time, he was excited. He finds himself running along the riverbank with a pair of shoes in his hand, dipping his feet in the water and making a hell of a lot of noise as he does. Thankfully, the river was there to drown out most of his yelping.
At some point, he tires himself out. Easily done when he hasn't had a meal in ages. At the very least, the cool, refreshing water flowing downstream was there to serve as a refreshment. He kneels down, plants his face in the river, and starts chugging. He's swallowed at least a dozen times before his Denji senses start tingling and he whips his head out.
The first thing he does is make eye contact with the man just a few meters away from him. The man who was, in fact, bare ass naked in the water. Bare ass naked in the water just upstream. Water. Upstream. Denji was drinking the water that was going downstream.
