The crackling voice in the radio makes Will think of sand and yellowed plants. It also reminds him he hasn't drank from his canteen in...some amount of time. His watch has been useless since he arrived, not that he's removed it.

This isn't the first person Will's seen in the flesh, but considering it's only the second? He's looking a little awed himself, finally continuing to move further into the room. Closer to the other.
